here we are, we have finally entered november; any retailer's worst nightmare, next to the day after christmas. it is unavoidable, though. while people tend to be a pain in the ass, asking you to achieve the impossible by producing something you have been sold out of for weeks at the last possible minute, i have fun with it. at my job, (the video game one, anyway), we get to have midnight sales for new releases, aka: let's basically have a party for a new game that is coming out!
i get to color on the doors....one thing art school was good for, i guess, even if i ended up in retail lol. we get to order food, i bring cookies, and play games all night! well, i don't get to because i'm working, but i get to watch, and then we give out prizes to the winner. it's all in good fun, though! yay!
call of duty will be this friday. i have tomorrow off, so i am going to make cookies all day, and paint a little. for fallout, i am going to make a "photo booth" for people to take pictures in! ☺ that includes a cutout of vault boy with a hole in his face for people to put their face in. i am excited. while i may not get all the days off, or even when i do get one i end up doing stuff anyway, it usually works out in the end.
also, for thanksgiving, we will be picking up our new adoptees...

that is all i am going to say on them for now. you'll just have to check back in a couple weeks.
well, since i don't really have much else going on, i'll leave off with a few other random pictures and my flyers i made for work. after i made the last of my apples into applesauce, we went apple picking again so my fridge is now restocked on apples for the season (we got some jonamacs, golden delicious, and ida reds for some pies and such).
it was really windy.
and then, (several days later) i received the most glorious thing from my husband.

NOPE. NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOOOOOPE.
this is, like, hands down the best thing ever. mostly because i use the phrase on a daily basis, but i now, legitimately have an official nice big cup of NOPE. i want to bring it to work, but i am afraid of breaking it. but i might bring it once in a while. it is seriously like a 20 oz cup. it's huge. i made a blueberry muffin in it a few days ago.
anyways, i should have some legit stuff to post on wednesday, and probably sunday, too. i know i missed a week, i am going to do my best to get through the holidays and keep up here. i mean, i'll definitely be baking since that is my gift to everyone, but you know how work is. if you are in the area during my midnight parties, stop out and have some fun! thanks for reading! ☺
