Speaking of Angels....

have i ever mentioned that cancer sucks balls? we had a discussion in the last day or so that cancer should get cancer and suck a nut. for seriously.

do you recall how i made the cancer cookies a couple months ago? yeah, friday night was it. it has been a sad week and weekend for my friends/family. i want to help, but feel like i can't really do much. i am told that i am helping in ways though, so i suppose its something. all i know is that the world lost a beautiful person on friday night, but i am glad to have had the opportunity to have gotten to know her and basically gain a sister through her daughter. (if you are reading this, i'll say it a million times, i love you, and i'll always be here for you.) ♥

yeah, i don't really have any pictures or fun stories for this week. this was from tonight at work though. the sky was really weird all day, and then turned out kind of pretty at the end of the night.

i am still trying to work on using all of those apples. i hope i can make the time to use them this week. i feel like i am constantly out of time. even at work, it's like there aren't enough hours in the day to get things done anywhere. (and yet here i am getting ready to watch the last half hour of a movie (snow white and the huntsman) and eat pizza. go me.) that aside, i bought some charcoals and a giant sketch pad because i want to draw. i have to use up the apples, finish my online i-drive-safely 5 hour course (insurance reduction!), begin prepping my cookie list, make sure work is in order (since it's like a damn twister has been through there every day)......call stupid verizon- i am being charged a whole month when i had their service for 5 days before we switched to at&t- how does that work? bunch of assholes.

happy thoughts! check out this sexy ass pizza. have i mentioned i love garlic pizza? and would also love guardians of the galaxy and a candy thermometer? (hint hint).

anyway, i will see what i have on wednesday. hopefully some kind of better news or treats to share. sorry for not having much today, but thanks for reading!

Apples, Apples, Everywhere

kind of.

i mean, i am still working on the half of my weight in apples that i picked a couple weeks ago, considering i crippled my hand at work it hasn't exactly been easy to do anything, you know, like peel, cut, roll, knead.....

but i did it anyway. my hand kind of hates me right now. i am getting ready to take a drive too, so i can't see this going too well.

i have only got a quick few minutes to type. i know, i am a slacker too, since it's thursday and NOT wednesday. i have had a lot of things going on. mostly work. i don't really care to close much, but what can i do. i can't even get my 32 hours so i'll take what i can get.

aren't these cute? at least the little ones. i've been dying to use these little loaf pans for something since they are tiny, and tiny is win all the way around. i am bringing the mini pie to kristen. the two crisps are staying home (i cut too many apples, so the extras i threw into a loaf pan with some rasperries and blueberries with the rest of the crisp topping).

my apartment smells amazing right now.

like, i wish it would smell like this every day.

i didn't have any special recipe for these, surprisingly. i chopped up the apples, added a 3 tbsp sugar, probably 1/4c flour, a couple shakes of nutmeg, allspice, cloves, and 1/4tsp cinnamon to the apples. oh, and a couple capfuls of lemon juice. stir the f*ck outta that til its covered. the crisp? brown sugar, flour, a packet of maple oatmeal, and some maple syrup. mix the f*ck outta that til it's clumpy and sticks to your hands!! smush it on top of your apples and blast that sh*t with your laser vision!! i mean, bake at 375 for about 45 minutes. yep. deliciousness.

i love my little leaf cutout too. yay fall!

so aside from work being a pain, (you know, the usual, no hours to do anything or have any help) i got sent to the doctors on tuesday because my hand was a work accident. i got a new brace to keep it steady, and some anti-inflammatory meds that i have not picked up yet. the brace makes it hard to do any kind of work, like i mentioned earlier. cleaning and stuff is included.

my doctors office selfie. yeah buddy. oh, but i took the brace off and have been cleaning since about 7:00 this morning. why? didnt much feel like going back to sleep after i woke up with ron to make him his lunch and tea. i probably wouldn't have been able to sleep anyway. so here i am. cleaning and baking, and making my hand that much worse.

its what i do. like a boss.

and because i know you all can't get enough of crazy bird lady time. this was last night as i was trying to put them to bed. i can't pay attention to one and not the other, so cosmo was vibrating on my shoulder, and satch was preening my arm and brace, while snuggling in my arm. as much of a pain that they are, i love them both.

so anyway, my pie and crisps are done!

yeah, the crisp isn't as pretty looking as the pie, but add some vanilla ice cream and you will be all set. yeahhh buddy.

well, work aside, i will try to post again sunday, hopefully with more things. thanks for reading!

Banana Muffins and Stuff

just going to start out saying that i am a complete idiot. just throwing that out there.

lets try to make things better with muffins though, shall we?

i got this recipe from pinterest via katrina's kitchen, for "coffee shop banana streusel muffins."

they look pretty good. they smell good. but to me, at the same time they smell weird, because i don't really like bananas. i made them for ron because we had a few bananas that were going brown.

is it weird for me to make things that i don't even eat? i would imagine people do that, but i don't know. i do it for love. that's all that matters to me.

they were pretty easy to make, at least. not too many ingredients, and the streusel actually has powdered sugar in it. seemed a little weird at first, but it turned out somewhat crispy like a streusel should.

it's something.

i still have about 26 pounds of apples to use up in my fridge. it really sucks. i want to make all of these things, and i crippled myself at work on monday. yep. it's been almost a week and my thumb, and now index finger and wrist, get all tingly feeling if i do too much work, or even brush my arm the wrong way.

i kind of forgot what day it was, and for a few minutes i was thinking that i was posting late. nope. it's actually sunday. it is very early though, i couldn't sleep, so i am blogging before work. it has been a pretty blah week. "blah" is the nicest word i could think of to put there. i don't like when things build up to a breaking point. it makes me unable to function properly on too many levels.

it makes me want to stay home and either, a: become a human burrito and stay with my blankets and never come out, or b: blanket nest and snuggles all day long. i can't even say how much i would prefer b right now, but i might live if i have to be a burrito for a day. just one day.

at least i only have a short shift today. i've been up since like 7:15. i already feel like 2pm can't get here fast enough. i won't even lie. i debated on calling in. we also have no employees, so despite the fact that the company is, uh, "mean," to its employees (nice terms there again, if you didn't catch), i will continue to work hard. it's all i can do.

i can look forward to later, since we are going to visit kristen and her mom. i posted about that a while ago, i made some special cookies. i am not going to repeat, but just know that i will be wearing purple this month. i need a purple hair bow. light purple, specifically.

since it is halloween weekend, we did go out for a bit. i thought these would be fun to share. ron made these swollen "bloody fingers," they are just hot dogs with some ketchup and a piece of onion. but pretty gross looking, right?

we did a kitty litter cake a while ago that went over awesome. there are so many things that people can get creative with food. i almost wish that i had time to do things like that. art with food. i suppose i probably could. that will have to be another experiment though. probably some research involved. i feel like it might be a little more than when i do cakes and cupcakes, but i could be completely wrong.

speaking of cupcakes....mini! because that's why. i made apple cider cupcakes, with candy corn, or caramel apple frosting (leftovers from the donut party). they were cute. i took my go-to cupcake recipe, added a little cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice (like one shake of each), and subbed apple cider in place of the water. i love that this recipe is so universal, or at least easy to substitute things.

alright. i have typed your face off enough, my hand is barely functioning (so many typos), and i should get ready to bravely (?) face the day at work, and wish for some happiness and good things to come my way.

(to my someone just for me: i love you no matter what.)
just throwing that out there too.♥

Exploring Knitting, and Making Soup

so i'm pretty sure i crippled myself at work on monday. (again? i lose track of the times i hurt myself at work.)

you see, i was cleaning this really gross system that got traded in (not the worst i've seen, but dirty enough to warrant a thorough sanitizing and wipe down), and as i was cleaning the component cable, the big metal part that plugs into the xbox swung around and slapped my wrist. i don't really have feeling in my thumb, and when i am too active, my wrist and thumb hurt. it feels weird to grip things, and gets all tingly, cold, and numb feeling. how super is that?

and yet, here i am typing away. it feels awkward. i guess i am going to look for my thumb brace, and see if that will help. if not, i might have to visit a doctor....which i have no money for.

on a (much) brighter note, check out my soup!

it is called ranchero soup, and it is from my healthy cooking taste of home book. ☺

it is full of veggies, like peppers, celery, onion, carrots, zucchini, and tomatoes. oh, theres rice in there too. it is very colorful. i made it for heather once before, but ron has been sick lately so i made it for him this time.

'

alright, well my pictures are being weird, so they're all going in the middle this time i guess. anyway, i roasted the veggies in the oven for a bit with some olive oil, coarsely chopped them, then added to the veggie stock. it comes together very fast, and you can probably add whatever stuff you like to it.

i like all the colors. sad to say, i probably won't eat it, i don't care for zucchini or super chunky vegetables. like, when i cook with onions and celery, i chop them up so small that they basically disintegrate into nothing by the time my soups are done (like the cheddar broccoli.....theres an onion in that, but after cooking, its non existent).

i just made this tonight while i was opening my computer to get ready to come here and post!

on another note, i learned to arm knit from the internet the other day! i used up the one ball of yarn (like material). i said i was going to post the finished product, buuuut, i needed two yarns to make a complete scarf. i went back today to get another purple one and another silver one, but they were gone. it was clearance, after all. so i am going to put the one silver and one purple one together, and then i got four reddish pinkish yarns (same clearance kind) that i am going to make two more with, and probably give away, or maybe sell.

ta-daaaa! i think it came out pretty neat. i guess i will post another picture when i add the silver, and when i complete the red ones. i am thinking of getting some other random yarns to make some for the holidays. i was wandering around the craft store and saw a lot of neat ones i liked that would make some cool scarves!

i like these big chunky puffy scarves. they're so neat. and this was super easy to learn as well. originally i found it on pinterest (of course), and it linked to a video that showed how to do it. it took me a bit to figure it out, but once i did, this took me like 20 minutes.

speaking (kind of) of the holidays, did i mention that i kind of cant wait? i know im stupid. im pretty sure this happens to me every year. at this point, i feel like i need all the happy i can get. and maybe some new spatulas, a second oven mitt, a nice cake stand with a cover, and a cast iron skillet (**hint hint**). maybe some more canvases and some fancy chocolate from lune chocolates (hint**hint again). just some little things. but mostly to feel happy, no matter how much work beats me down.

all the glitter and pretty things....not to mention the food. i could use a couple more days to be a fat kid and not even care. i am a little worried about thanksgiving though. i might have to work at midnight, since i am assistant manager. i don't really do overnights well, so this scares me. not to mention i may not get to go out and see any family. it's the only time i ever get to visit anyone since i am stuck working all the time. it's pretty sad when an assistant manager can't even get 40 hours at one job, let alone two. it seems like i am going backwards, too, since usually holidays warrant MORE hours, but we are getting LESS. how does that make sense?

oh wait, the company i work for is busy lining their pockets for themselves instead of caring about their employees and coverage at the store. lets not give them any payroll to cover one of the busiest releases (this weekend....call of duty) and seasons so there is no time or chance to do anything, and on top of that, expect them to sign people up for credit cards, cell phone contracts, rewards cards, and all of the other 8 million things they have to do.

have i told you lately how much i love my son? he is really the best. he loves me no matter what, and....well.....BEST EVAR. im pretty sure ron does too, but this is my son. the end. he makes me happy. (you both do ♥)

so i guess i will leave this for now. my hand feels weird, so i should probably try to rest it and stuff. it really sucks, because there are so many things i want to do and make. i have like 30 pounds of apples in my fridge that i can't touch because peeling them would probably be pure torture (taking trades at work and then peeling carrots and dicing the veggies was bad enough...not to mention driving anywhere. driving stick is not helping).

okay, OKAY. leaving now. maybe i will have treats to post on sunday. thanks for reading! ☺

Donut Party Sunday... And Other Things

Donut buffet? I think thats a yes.

They were even baked homemade donuts. With real vanilla bean in the vanilla ones. Hell yeah. check out the recipe, its super easy, and donut pans are pretty cheap (especially when you have all those 40-50% off craft store coupons).

Look at all dem beans. Beany goodness. Courtesy of trader joes. I think i want to make a cheesecake with the other one. This is such a crazy time of the year because i wanna make everything i find. Or maybe its just when im hungry. Everything looks delicious when youre starving. Like this red velvet fudge i found when i couldnt sleep at 4 am the other day....followed by these cinnamon swirl pancakes...i almost got out of bed to make them at a ludicrous hour because i was so hungry. (There was a reason behind that, i didnt eat much the day before or else i wouldnt have wanted to eat my hand. Or my phone. At stupid hours no less.)

Hooray for donuts!! They came out pretty awese if i say so myself. Not to mention all the toppings we had. Oh yeah. Super sexy. Reeses pieces, toffee bits, chocolate chis, marshmallows....you can see from the pictures.

Not to mention donut mountain. Much like candy mountain, but made of donuts. Yep. Deliciousness.

And you better believe we made a couple with everything on em. Best ever. You cant get donuts like these anywhere else.

It was a good day to be stuck inside because of the rain.

Aside from stuffing my face with donuts, i did a little cooking on friday and made stuffed cabbage. Yes, i am polish (and italian), so i grew up with this kind of thing.

They came out okay. I used ground beef, going a long with the internet. Im pretty sure this is the only time i should not trust the internet, since we used to make them with ground pork. Not to mention my mom told me theres bacon involved....bacon is like magic, and i cant believe i didnt use it. So one more reason to make again. i cant believe i would neglect bacon. me, of all people. its blasphemy.

anyway, so i made those. i made donuts. what else did i do besides work? let me go through my pictures....

well, i also went apple picking on thursday. i got like 30 pounds of apples. got me some golden delicious and northern spy. i juiced a couple of them to add to other juicer juice....which by the way, i actually drank a tiny bit. i ingested green things. juice with apples (now), oranges, carrots and cucumbers. i have to get more oranges, or use less carrots next time. we got them because ron was doing a juicing thing for a while, and is trying to start back up again. he was taking too long and i didnt want the fruits and veggies to go bad, so i used the juicer....and then learned not to use all the carrots. but it was okay.

man, i feel like everything i do lately is just okay. well, the donuts were awesome, but meh, nobody is perfect. especially since the juicing and the cabbage was a first time for both.

so yes. apples. i need to find more things to make with apples. i am planning on a mini crisp, mini cobbler, (i got these tiny ceramic loaf pans, so i am going to make tiny versions since i dont usually eat baked apples in stuff like that).  but i also want these apple peanut butter cookies (that i will eat), and maybe some more muffins. more applesauce will probably be in order as well.

whats that? crazy bird lady time? of course, because it is a part of my daily routine. i mean, look at this asshole. hes licking my face, for no reason at all, other than that's what he does.

this was in the morning, i think it was a snapchat (since my fridge is on the wrong side). he was just hanging out with mom because he was being an obnoxious ass and screaming at the leaves all day long, and then at everyone in the room because he wanted attention. oh, my poopsicle.

the night before that i cut his nails, which was the only other reason i picked him up. its so much nicer when he can't claw the daylights out of my shoulder. so nice. he cant really grip or anything, which makes it funny, but less blood.

i still have to do the rest of them, aside from satch, but i'll post that picture in a second. i'm filling space, and about to show you why he is the bestest boy ever.

ohhhh my gosh he is so good!! hes 17, he lays on his back and lets me cut his nails. he was a littlle freaked out this time though, i am not sure if he is going blind or not. he worries me, but i love him. how many birds will lay on their back and let you do this? ive seen some bigger birds on the internet, but none that i know in person. take that.

pinterest has also been abusing my interests. i know its not even halloween yet, but i am so ready for christmas and all of its glittery goodness. dont care. too many peppermint and red velvet things (amidst all of the pumpkin things) are coming up, and i need it now. like i said before, it kind of forces the happy out of me, and it is beginning to ooze out slowly, despite how much i want to punch work in the ass.

not to mention all the craft stores have all of their holiday stuff out. yes. i am planning my cookie list soon. been thinking about what stuff i want for black friday, or even if anyone is bold enough to gift me something...which i know is unlikely, but i can dream. maybe i will share some things, and we will see who reads my blog and loves me enough to bring me a happy holiday season.

lastly, i found this on pinterest and it looked pretty cool. i am arm knitting. i just started this as blogger was loading up. i had to watch the video like three times, but i am on my way to a scarf. i will post the results on wednesday! or thursday. probably wednesday. i open, so i have the evening off. i bought this yarn today because it was on clearance for 97 cents. i also got a gray one with sequins. sequins are awesome.

so anyway, i will leave you with this picture of satch enjoying all of the caramel and chocolate drippings off of my plate. i love him. happy week, all!

Banana Bread, Rainy Week...Officially Fall

it's been officially fall for the last few weeks, i guess, but when i go outside, it screams fall. all the colors, and now the rain and cold....i can definitely do without the cold. blah.

but like i said last time, fall (and winter) is the time for warm things like soup, tea, and hot cocoa. and in the case of this weekend, hot spiced cider. yum!

oh, and this fancy banana bread that i made, i guess. although i suspect you can have banana bread any time of the year. it's not my cup of tea, but ron likes it so here it is. i even threw the rolled oats on top to make it look all fancy (and healthy....you know, rolled oats are good for you. i still want to make granola sometime.)

this one i got from allrecipes, banana banana bread. super easy. it does need quite a bit of banana, but it is called banana bread, after all. i guess it turned out pretty good.

despite all of the fall weather, i have been watching out for apples at beak and skiff....i am pretty sure, regardless of rain or whatever the weather is like tomorrow, i am going apple picking. i need the golden delicious apples, and northern spy. i miss the golden every year because by this time i have already gone apple picking 2-3 times, so i give up.

this was before baking, i should have probably posted this first, but meh. i do what i want. it looked kind of pretty before hand.

anyway, so yes, more apples tomorrow. i am not sure what i will do with the rest of them. maybe make some more of that apple streusel bread since it was awesome. but i still want to make some of those apple peanut butter cookies. ron wants to try and make apple cider. probably will make more applesauce since it goes so fast.

so let's see. what else have i done the last couple days.....we had our late my/steve's birthday dinner sunday night, then i worked monday, i made this bread and fixed those cheer bows on tuesday, and then went to the mall to walk around and check on our phones and stuff. then worked today. i lead such an exciting life. work will be the death of me though. or maybe cosmo. punk ass is sitting behind me being a bitch.

so those hair bows. i guess they were too small according to the coach, so i had to get the giant 3 inch ribbon. i made the bigger ones and attached the smaller ones to the front.

they are pretty big. like as big as my hand. i hope they are alright this time. i ran out of ribbon and then ended up with too much. maybe i will keep it, but i dont know what else to do with it other than these.

and then this happened after the mall. look at how fancy he made it for me!! aaahh i super love it (and him....which sorry, btw, i had to post your pretty dessert you made me, and that face).

i made more of those brownies for two, and we had some leftover wine ice cream from when steve and amanda came to visit, so we made more sundaes and watched big bang theory. i didn't think that we finished season 6, but apparently we watched a bunch of it. i just finished downloading season 7, so when we are done, we can watch that too. i am in love with amy ferrah fowler. i am pretty sure she is my favorite part of the show (and i say that i love her at least once an episode).

i miss being happy like this all the time, so it is a nice change to do fun things like this, to veg out (or brownie sundae out) and watch tv shows and movies outside of work until im ready to go to sleep. i have a lot to catch up on since work had gotten the better of me for a while.

speaking of work, have i mentioned how torn i am on the situation? seriously. i love working there. i love the people i work with. it is stupid how many things we have to pitch at people......and now we offer cricket wireless service. yes, i work with video games and sell cell phone service. and credit cards. and a number of other things. i am pretty sure i am not allowed behind the counter anymore, unless its to ring someone out. any other tasks can wait, which means the store will get trashed. and we will get written up for not selling any of this stuff. at least thats how it feels. it is not a threat yet....i feel like it may turn into this soon, though, but who knows. i wish they would give up. enough is enough. i thought we sold games, not every electronic known to man. we might as well start taking tv's and toasters and stuff. maybe someone will trade in a nice rotating waffle iron that i can buy cheap.

the holidays are coming up though, i don't care if you don't want to hear it. it's happening. my work will probably get crazy because of that, but i am excited. not for work, but, as i think i mentioned last time, for the colors, the lights, the glitter, and oh my goodness food. i love food. we got these crazy awesome gift cards at work that look like rainbows and unicorns threw up glitter all over. i just want one to look at. everyone is getting their holiday stuff out already and it makes me want to skip everything so i can have all the glitter forever. outside of work, of course. i like pretty things. it really is like a happy switch, that no matter how much i hate work or whatever i'm doing, christmas/etc forces a smile on my face and happy feelings. it's stupid crazy.

this asshole. yes, i am squeezing his head. he loves it, and licks my fingers and palm. i don't know why. it keeps him quiet though. he has been really loud lately. it is probably because noone is ever home and he is an attention whore. i have to cut his nails so i can pick him up sometimes. he clawed the crap out of my shoulder last week. my birds are assholes. most of the time anyway. and mostly just cosmo. my cats are bigger assholes, though. end of story.

anyway, so yeah. i am going to pick apples tomorrow. probably in the rain. it will be cold but i don't care....much. maybe i will bring some tea with me in my super teavanna tumbler. it keeps my tea hot for like 12 hours. it's crazy. so let's leave it at this for now, i will have more for sunday. have a good weekend, and thanks for reading!

Back to Work, and Blueberry Muffins(Take Two)

Shut up. I happen to like blueberry muffins. Theyre only one of the best muffins ever. These ones are good for you too, being all full of applesauce, a little greek yogurt, and i used my whole wheat flour....and blueberries. All dem antioxidants are bitchin.

And rolled oats. Yep. Take that. Threw a little cinnamon in there for more health benefits. Im being healthy. eat it. (Literally, i guess.)

So lets see how this turns out. I am blogging on my phone to start. It will probably make me crazy, since i have to scroll up to keep reading what i type, and i bet the pictures will go crazy. But thats why i edit at home. I am just getting a head start for tomorrow since i work all day again. It feels like its already sunday though, my whole week is off. Vacation, then I worked the wrong night at gamestop, (not because i wasnt supposed to, but because i havent closed on a thursday in 5 years due to working at delphias). So meh.

These blueberry muffins were pretty awesome though. I was a little skeptical of using the applesauce since i am not really a fan. I dont care for yogurt much either, and i bake with that, so maybe that should tell me something.

They even have a "was supposed to be granola but i didnt have any so i used some rolled oats brown sugar and honey" topping. It was kind of crispy when they came out of the oven, but the container i put them in locked in moisture. Theyre just delicious anyway.

Ding! Fries are done....er, muffins. Yessss. Assemble the muffins.

So work. I already quit once. Then came back. I quit because, in my eyes, my job was being threatened (trying to get any type of sales numbers in a dying location was hard, but not making a certain percent over 8 weeks and being let go for something you cant avoid? Ill leave on good terms thanks). Now things are just getting ridiculous. I dont like selling credit cards. But not even that, the amount of tasks they want us to do with single person coverage is pretty terrible. You cant get things done if you are expected to drop everything to help the customers. Everything is just going to be all over the floor.

I was sitting at work putting things away today, and i kept thinking to myself about everything, work, not work, and how i need to continue to change. The mini vacation was nice, but i feel like i had a relapse over the last couple days, and work is not helping. I dont want to quit, since i finally have vacation time available (and a whole 3 weeks, at that! Made my boss jealous cuz ive been with the company so long). But i feel so blah. Its still fun to work there, but when i get in trouble for multitasking trying to keep the store clean (which if i dont, it is a nightmare), then what the hell. Either understand things need to be done and dont freak the fuck out if i address customers while im doing other tasks, ir give us payroll hours to schedule people to help out, and try not lining your pockets with the profits. No wonder everyone is miserable.

Happy though- this was a couple weeks ago. I got a pile of free food from work because we had a buffet out back and they didnt eat it all....so we had one dinner plate and shared it. Yay. ♥

So anyway, i keep telling myself i need to keep going just a little longer, maybe things will sort themselves out soon. But at the same time i want to give up again, and im not the only one this time. A lot of managers do not seem happy at the moment. I have a few ideas of what i want to do, but i will share them in time. I am thinking some people may not be happy, but you know what? I want to be happy. I need these things to make things and myself better. I have been through a lot, i have struggled, and am continuing to search for better things. I dont want to suffer anymore. Sure, things have been getting better the last month, but it is only the beginning. I will move forward, i will be strong. If i want to do sething to help that, then let it be. You'll get over it, sorry to say.

Like i said though, in due time. There is only one person that knows. Ill share someday. In the mean time, lets keep having fun.

I gave my son (and the others) celery a couple days ago too. He was so happy and immediately destroyed it. I also gave him peanut butter another morning, and he was doing his happy dance. Oh he makes me smile. I have to try to be with them more, it is (possibly?) only going yo get busier with the holidays coming, so i wont get to see him much.

Speaking of the holidays, have i mentioned i am going to attempt a no bake holiday this year, or as close as possible to one? Ive been looking a lot of treats up, and will probably put together my list soon. Holidays are my favorite time of the year. Not because of presents (i usually dont get much, but i also dont ask for much) but because of all the lights, colors, sounds, glitter, pretty things, flavors (white chocolate and peppermint? Yes please). Oh my goodness. Warm fuzzies thinking about it. I dont like the cold, but being inside on a cold night with hot cocoa or tea and a movie is delightful.

We got a little time before thats here though. Donut party next weekend. Bring some toopings, some cider, or whatnot. Super pumped for that too. I love donuts.

Yep. Story of being back to work. Going to indulge in tea every chance i get to keep the happy at bay. Also, being cold is a good reason to drink tea. It was in the 40's today. I think last week was our last stretch of nice weather for a long time.

Anyway, i am posting on time for sunday, (the last bit of that was from today). I am about to have dinner with ron and our friends steve and amanda (whose wedding is the one i got to wear a tux for!) so excited because i havent seen them in months! Its our super late birthday dinner to each other. Anyway, i hope to have more on wednesday for you. Thanks for reading! :)

ps, sorry if the font is funky. i edited on the computer and had to fix some things and it seems off.
